2024 Year in Review
In 2024, we saw the International Socca Federation organize some of the most incredible small sided football events the world has ever seen. In February 2024, the 2024 Socca Americas Cup (Copa America) was held in Cancun, Mexico with 16 nations participating. Shortly after, it was Moldova's turn to shine as they were the host for the 2024 Socca Euro Cup. Greece was extremely welcoming in October 2024 at the Socca Champions League with 68 clubs from around the globe competing for 1 trophy. And to finish 2024, the 2024 Socca World Cup was held in Muscat, Oman with 40 nations attending!
Socca Canada's Next Major Competition
With 1 full year as a proud member of the International Socca Federation under our belt, it is now time to focus on 2025! Socca Canada's first big test of 2025 will be the new rebranded 2025 Socca Americup (Copa America)!
2025 Socca Americup Host
The 2025 Socca Americup will be held in the home of football, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in July of 2025! The Socca Americup (Copa America), will be a stand-alone competition for nations strictly from the Americas! Expect a minimum of 16 participating nations, major global coverage, and a flavorful Brazil atmosphere! We are excited to travel to Brazil, and have a successful tournament!
2024: What a year!
2024 was massive for Socca Canada! In our inaugural year we competed in 2 major competitions: The Socca Copa America in Mexico and the Socca World Cup in Oman! It was a year of learning, as we strived to establish ourselves as a regular participating member of the International Socca Federation. We built amazing relationships with other federations, brands and sponsors. Now we look forward to 2025 with several major tournaments on the horizon. We are opening Canada's first ever 6v6 Socca League, as well as holding open try outs for our national team. Stay Tuned! More information and announcements are coming soon!

As the 41st ranked nation according to Socca World Rankings, Canada was in Pot 4. Canada ended up in Group A with the hosts Oman, United States, Italy and Qatar! We are pleased with the draw and look forward to playing our 4 opponents during the group stage matches!

During the group stage matches, each nation will play every opponent once, for a total of 4 matches. After all group stage matches have been completed, the top 2 teams will move on to the Round of 16 of the 2024 Socca World Cup!
